Flowermarket in Lombez

Every year, a Sunday early in May, there is a nice flower market in Lombez.

Here a few pictures of the 2006 market.

The grain hall in Samatan is beautifully restored, after more than a year of work.

The inside is worthwhile as well, a library on the left side, and the cinema room is back too, on the right.

Both inside and outside look splendid.

A good combination of a historic outside with a modern and useful inside, tastefully decorated.

An enrichment of the village and the environment.

Recently a beautiful fence has been placed in the little street leading to the tourist office in Samatan. You see this fence when standing on the market place, in front of the mairie.

A visit to the tourist office is recommended, the office also functions as a small museum, with changing exhibitions.
