Facelift voor onze website (AW, MK)

In the previous newsletter we reported about the facelift of  the pages dealing with the Rental of our villas as starting on the  Start page. Since then we have changed all pages in Dutch to the new layout, Of course we will also do the pages in English. 

The newsletters will continue to be used to inform you about all developments in the Parc. 

Recommendations and positive feedback are welcome, of course, this is for:

Events in the restaurant during Christmas and New Year (MK)

We told you in our previous newsletter about the planned events in our château.

All brunches, dinners, parties and last but not least the cooking clinics were an enormous success. The following pictures, a small selection of all the work of the various photographers, give a fair impression. 

		Both our château and the town hall (mairie) in Lombez were nicely decorated and illuminated for the festivities.  During the buffets of Boxing day and New Year's day and during the dinners on Christmas days and New Year's day there was a lot of different dishes to taste and enjoy. Likewise there was good company.  Especially during the
		buffets  it was no easy tasks to make the right choice from the dishes: everything looked tempting, but there is a limit to the amount of food one can eat in one meal. The number of desserts! .  A lot of work for  Paul, Marion and their staff  On behalf of all participants: thank you very much!!
		Of course everybody knows Marion, we see her often in the restaurant. But the gentleman in the picture on the right isn't often seen: he is too busy cleaning and sorting out all the used utensils and dinnerware. A lot of work, even with a big dishwasher.
And the cooking clinics were very good!
		They started in the library, where Paul explained the menu (oyster soup, salmon, game and  pannacotta). One group of people gets to help Paul preparing starters and main course, the other participants help Marion with the desserts.  it is real work, but lots of fun as well. And enough time for little breaks and for taking lots of pictures.  Apart form one light casualty (Max hurts himself with the oyster knife) everything goes like clockwork. We learned a lot, but better not betray the kitchen secrets of Paul and marion here. We recommend you follow one of the next clinics.   While eating our self-made dinners we were helped by family and friends.

Golf 2007 (MK)

	Van 2 tot 4 maart was ons Parc met een prachtige stand  vertegenwoordigd op de beurs Amsterdam Golf 2007, in de RAI Amsterdam. Gert-Jan de Korte, Paul Keijdener en William van Grootveld waren aanwezig om, samen met deze fraaie kasteeldames (van bureau ABP-Golf) de potentiële klanten alles te vertellen van de mogelijkheden van het Parc: men kon op de maquette nagaan welke huizen nog te koop zijn, maar natuurlijk ook informatie krijgen over het golfterrein en de golfarrangementen.  Inforatie over ons golfterrein en de arrangementen leest u op pagina Golf. If you think the distance between your home and Lombez too long for a one-day drive, we suggest several low-priced hotels on our page Travel options. 

here we add another suggestion:

Château Constant, a pleasant hotel in Bessines, approx. 350 km after Paris, with Dutch owners.  We recommend to make reservations if you want to stay there in the summer season.

Not only our website has been renovated to cater for the season 2007. The travel agencies now also have the new brochure of VrijUit. 

Our Parc is listed in the VrijUit brochure  "Vive la France" on page 201.

We are changing this routine, because the trend has been established (we have a steady number of visitors with a true interest in our Parc), but also because you can checkout the statistics yourself.
