Facelift for our website (AW, MK)

Did you notice the new  Start page of our website?

The well-known web-site chateau-barbet.com has been changed in a way that, in our opinion, improves its structure. 

Visitors will now, using the "front door", aka the  Start page, immediately see all the pages informing about the rental of villas. They are organised for easy access from search engines such as Google. 

Looking for other information we made the option General information, which gives access to the well-known pages like this newsletter, the weather, the region and a photo gallery of the Parc and its region. 

If you had added a few of the pages of our website in your favourites you may have to make corrections now. Our apologies for the inconvenience. 

The newsletters will continue to be used to inform you about all developments in the Parc. 

Recommendations and positive feedback are welcome, of course, this is for:

A new Parc manager

Starting 1 Jjanuary 2007 our Parc has a new manager, his name is John van Westerlaak.

 John is looking forward to this new job, he says: 
"I want, with your help, not just make the Parc Residentiel Château Barbet into a splendid living envirinment in the South of France, but also one where residents and visitors can have a good time.  
I am ready to start and hope to meet you soon in the Parc."

Events in the restaurant during Christmas and New Year (MK)

We told you in our previous newsletter about the planned events in our château.

Personally, I am looking forward to my Christmas vacation in the Parc.

The weather forecast (taken on 19 December, left for Auch, right for Toulouse) doesn't promise a white Christmas, but a fair number of hours in the sun on my terrace!

Wherever you are for your vacation, we wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

National Parc des Pyrénées

In the previous newsletter I wrote about the beautiful  national Parc in de Pyrenees. Meanwhile I received these nice pictures, which I want to share with you.

Not only our website has been renovated to cater for the season 2007. The travel agencies now also have the new brochure of VrijUit. 

Our Parc is listed in the VrijUit brochure  "Vive la France" on page 201.
