The Garonne is one of the many rivers in this region which connects the places to each other. This river also travels through Toulouse and determines the city’s atmosphere. The Save is a tributary from the Garonne and runs through Samatan and Lombez our local villages. They are within walking distance from the park and the nature around the river is gorgeous. These streams have found their way between the hills and the vineyards, cypresses and umbrella pine-trees. They go through a colourful landscape that is characterised by sunflowers.
